SPEECH AND LANGUAGE IEP CONSULTATIVE SERVICES

Evergreen Speech Consulting LLC strives to not only support clients' speech/language skill growth and development, but also, support their parents on their journey through the school-based Speech/Language Support Services and IEP process. In partnership with Goepfert Speech Associates, LLC, the mission of Evergreen Speech Consulting LLC is to support parents/guardians in ensuring their children receive their right to a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment to best support their communication needs.

Consultant: Ariana Graham, M.S. CCC-SLP, Owner and Director of Evergreen Speech Consulting LLC, is a certified and licensed Speech and Language Pathologist who graduated Summa Cum Laude with her B.A. degree at Loyola University Maryland, majoring in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology and minoring in Special Education. She received multiple awards for academic achievement and leadership including the Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology Departmental Award and Phi Beta Kappa membership. Ariana completed her M.S. degree at Purdue University with a specialization in Autism and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and publication of her Master's Thesis with Purdue's AAC Research Lab. She has since achieved the ASHA Award for Continuing Education as well as the ASHA Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate. |
Ariana has 6 years of experience with school-based Speech/Language support services including time as Speech/Language Department Chair for one of the largest school districts in Pennsylvania. She is well versed in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process, Response to Intervention (RTI) programs, Multidisciplinary Evaluations, Individualized Education Plans (IEP), and Re-evaluations. While working in the public school system, her caseload included three Autistic Support Classrooms and a variety of student needs. Her experiences include provision of services with the following: articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, pragmatic language, Apraxia, and AAC. She has worked with special populations including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, ADHD, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Central Auditory Processing Disorder, Selective Mutism, Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, and Brain Injury. She has received specialized training in Verbal Behavior (VB), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Her caseload at Goepfert Speech Associates over the past seven years includes clients ages birth to adult with a variety of diagnoses as well as accent modification.
Description of Services (The following services may be provided depending on the client’s needs); The administration may help the parents discern which service(s) will best meet their needs based on the child history form.
1) Informational IEP Process Consultation
(up to 45 minutes) Target Audience: parents/guardians who have not yet started the IEP process or who have just received a permission to evaluate form from the school
Additional 15 minute unit rate of $40 per 15-minute unit 2) IEP Review
(up to 1 hour) Target Audience: parents/guardians seeking further clarification on their child's IEP

3) Initial IEP Recommendations Consultation
(up to 1.5 hours) Target Audience: parents/guardians who are seeking professional expertise and/or a second opinion to determine if their child's current IEP is meeting their child's needs.
Additional 15 minute unit rate of $40 per 15-minute unit 4) Follow-Up IEP Consultation
(up to 1 hour) Target Audience: parents/guardians who have previously met with the SLP consultant and received a consultative summary report and would like the SLP consultant to review the new information provided by the school and/or changes provided by the school.
Additional 15 minute unit rate of $40 per 15-minute unit *Initial Consultation Meeting is required prior to the provision of this service (see #3). |
